Technology Access Programme Funding Opportunity: Live briefing and Q&A

Monday 5 September 2022 11.30 – 12.30pm

Watch on-demand the Live briefing and Q&A webinar to find out how your organisation could receive £15,000 in funding from the Digital Security by Design programme and gain access to the cutting-edge Arm Morello board incorporating CHERI architecture.

Through the Digital Security by Design Technology Access Programme, UK-based companies can use these technologies to uncover security vulnerabilities in their own systems before they become a problem, and provide findings to influence the design of future computer systems.

Is the future for secure computer systems open source?

Will our industry end up completely open source? How are tech companies already embracing open source as an ethos and practically? Will it make our systems safer and more secure? Is there an alternate future?

Hosted by renowned cybersecurity journalist and author, Geoff White, the event started with a keynote address by Bruce Perens, co-founder of the Open Source Initiative, before proceeding to a panel discussion, ’Does open sourcing code make for less vulnerable code?‘ with audience Q&A. Perens was joined by Amanda Brock – CEO of OpenUK, the UK body for Open Technology, Andy Martin – CEO and Founder of ControlPlane and Mark Inskip – Programme Director, Morello Program, Arm.
